Now meet The French Freak, Victor Wembanyama.A video from ESPN’s Mike Schmitz of Wembanyama playing a game of two-on-two with NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert of the Jazz went viral, showcasing the 16-year-old Frenchman’s impressive skill-set for someone that stands 218cm tall.“Wembanyama’s skill level, agility and incredible length are on full display. Arguably the best prospect in the world regardless of age,” Schmitz, an NBA Draft expert for the network, wrote.

Wembanyama can be seen hitting 3-pointers and handling the ball.
He made his debut this week for Nanterre 92 in France’s Pro A, the same franchise that has produced players like Gobert, Tony Parker, Evan Fournier and Boris Diaw.
And what a maiden appearance it was as he put up 22 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks to lead Nanterre to a win.

Wembanyama is the second-youngest player to ever participate in Eurocup.
In the Under-18 Adidas Next Generation Tournament in February, Wembanyama averaged 20.7 points, 15.3 rebounds, 7.6 blocks and 3.6 steals per 36 minutes.
