The public memorial for Kobe and Gianna Bryant at Staples Center was filled with former NBA stars, luminaries and guests with names known around the world.

Michael Jordan, arguably the NBA's greatest player, helped Bryant's widow Vanessa off the stage after her emotional and heartfelt speech. Jordan won six titles with the Chicago Bulls and was a player Bryant emulated.

Beyonce, who opened the program with Bryant's favorite song "XO" and "Halo", and Jay-Z. Jennifer Lopez, who remembered Bryant before the Super Bowl.

Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time with 28 medals.
