Michael Jordan’s colossal net worth is more than Mayweather and Beckham combined

David Beckham and Floyd Mayweather are two of the most famous sportsmen in the world, but their combined net worth pales in comparison to that of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Jordan, 58, is widely recognised as one of the best NBA stars of all-time and enjoyed huge success with the Chicago Bulls in the 1980s and 1990s, winning an incredible six NBA championships.

Beckham, on the other hand, rose to fame both on and off the pitch during his time with Manchester United and Real Madrid, while Mayweather is one of, if not the best, boxers in history.

All three men are huge names in the world of sport. And Daily Star Sport has now taken a look at the full career earnings of each of them to find out how they rank compared to one another.

Floyd Mayweather net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Mayweather's current net worth stands at $450million, which equates to roughly £326million.

The 44-year-old has earned huge amounts of cash over the course of his career, with fights against the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor bringing in $250million (£181million) and $300million (£218million) respectively.

Those bouts have enabled Big Money to purchase all sorts of lavish properties, including an 11-bedroom custom-built mansion in Las Vegas and an insane pad in Beverley Hills.

Mayweather reportedly owns over £10million worth of luxury cars, a £43million private jet and a jewellery collection that would put Hatton Garden to shame.

Reports suggest he earned north of £40million following his controversial exhibition fight with YouTuber Jake Paul which ended in a no result after eight rounds.

Michael Jordan net worth

There are very few former sportspeople who can claim to be worth billions of pounds, but then Jordan was no ordinary athlete.

During his NBA career with the Bulls and Washington Wizards, MJ earned over £66million. Not bad, but a drop in the ocean when compared to his corporate earnings.

According to Forbes, Jordan has banked an incredible £1.32billion from sponsorships with the likes of Nike, Hanes and Gatorade.

His link-up with Nike, in particular the Air Jordan trainer that bears his name, he pocketed him around £1billion since 1984.

Jordan, who also owns NBA side Charlotte Hornets and gives heavily to charity, has an estimated net worth of just under £1.2billion.

David Beckham net worth

David Beckham is worth in the region of $450million (£326million) thanks to a career which has taken him from Leytonstone to Los Angeles – with plenty of stops in between.

The 46-year-old rose to prominence with Manchester United at around the same time he met wife Victoria, aka Posh Spice, helping the couple achieve huge worldwide fame.

Away from the pitch Beckham has worked hard to grow his brand through commercial tie-ins with the likes of Adidas, Coty, H&M, Samsung, Breitling and perhaps most notably, Calvin Klein.

The former midfielder is one of football's biggest success stories and has a net worth to prove it, with that figure only set to grow following his recent £150million deal to be the face of the Qatar World Cup.

Going by estimates taken from Celebrity Net Worth, Beckham and Mayweather have a combined net worth of roughly £652million.

Not bad, but nowhere near the incredible net worth of Jordan, who has a total wealth of £1.2billion, according to Forbes.

The gap between the NBA legend's net worth and that of his fellow two sportsmen combined is so vast that Jordan is worth almost double them put together.

That is some serious net worth in every sense.
