Tom Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen is expected 'not to attend' his opening match of the 2022 season when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Dallas Cowboys, as rumours about their split continue to grow.
The American football great is heading into his 23rd NFL season at 45-years-old. For the majority of his remarkable career, Brady has often had Bundchen watching on from the stands but the 42-year-old model will not be there for his 2022 opener.
According to People, a source said: "It’s always a big thing when Gisele is coming to watch the game, but as of right now, there’s none of that for Sunday’s game. It feels very different this year than last year. She was excited to be here, we saw her around.

“I’m not saying she can’t possibly come, but nothing is in place for her to be here for the first regular season game and that seems weird. Everyone here knows that there’s tension, but we don’t know how serious it is.
"So we’re just not talking to him about Gisele. It’s not a topic anyone wants to bring up to him.” The news comes after it was reported by Page Six that Bundchen had left the family home due to a number of arguments surrounding Brady's decision to make a u-turn on his retirement.

The news comes after the 45-year-old star was absent from the Buccaneers' pre-season training camp in August. It was then revealed that his break was due to 'personal reasons' with reports suggesting it was surrounding his relationship with Bundchen.
On the matter, his coach Todd Bowles said: "He will be taking anywhere…he will be back sometime around after [the] Tennessee [preseason game]. He’s going to deal with some personal things.”
