UFC fighter Tai Tuivasa has collected another first-round knockout win in an explosive card in Las Vegas.
Tuivasa is beginning to demand greater respect in the heavyweight division after producing his second win in five months and the 11th KO of his career.
Tuivasa ended Harry Hansucker just 49 seconds into the first round via a TKO that was a mere formality following two right hand bombs.
Tuivasa was the first fight on the main card of the Brunson vs Holland Fight Night and he showed he is still very worthy of being scheduled with the big stars of the UFC.
The western Sydney product set up his finish intelligently with a series of early leg kicks.
Those kicks eventually created an opening for Tuivasa to sneak his right hand over the top of Hansucker’s guard.

The first one rocked Hansucker, who stumbled briefly on his feet. The second one knocked him down.
Hansucker was still able to briefly defend himself when Tuivasa dived in to complete the finish, and even kept him at bay for a brief few seconds with some kicks from the ground.
However, Tuivasa didn’t let the contest continue for much longer after landing a few more right hands that forced referee Herb Dean to stop the fight.

Tuivasa’s career is very much back on track after suffering three consecutive defeats from 2018-2019.
Earlier, Montel Jackson stole the show on the preliminary card when he finished Jesse Strader via a TKO less than two minutes into the first round.
Jackson unleashed with a combination of left and right punches that sent Strader crashing into the Octagon fence backwards.

It was all over seconds later after Jackson landed more heavy shots on the floor.
