Conor McGregor’s £2m pub targeted with petrol bomb ‘while UFC star hosted event’

Conor McGregor's flagship pub was last night petrol-bombed while the UFC star hosted an event.

The Black Forge Inn in Dublin was targeted while McGregor hosted a taste-testing on Wednesday night, although no damage was caused.

Two men were seen on a scooter heading towards the pub before the incident took place with police appealing for witnesses and video footage.

A source told Dublin Live: "There was two people allegedly spotted on scooters who passed the establishment at the time and next thing they were being chased by two others who had come out of the property.

"McGregor had been holding a taste testing menu in the pub at the same time so the alleged attackers may have assumed he was inside."

The Dublin hotspot has been welcoming guests since last summer, and is one of the most sought-after bookings in McGregor's hometown.

The former two-weight UFC champion is regularly spotted at the pub with his fiancee Dee Devlin and TV star sister Erin and has posed for countless pictures with fans at the venue since returning to Ireland after his last fight.

And it has been reported that aside from the two petrol bombs that were throw, two more were found at the scene.

McGregor bought the property in 2019 for £2m and has revamped it in recent months to make it a luxurious nightlife spot, where bookings have been in high demand.
