Dana White has told his critics to go ‘f*** yourselves’ after the UFC boss was seen gifting a staggering £207,000 ($250,000) to YouTube star Kyle Forgeard for his birthday. Forgeard is best known for being a member of famed YouTube pranksters the Nelk Boys, who have amassed 7.4 million subscribers.
The group – best known for their prank videos on the site – are close friends with White, and are often pictured cage-side at a number of fight nights. The 28-year-old shared a clip of the UFC boss gifting him his eye-watering present earlier this month.
In the video, Forgeard is seen opening up a gift box, before pulling out the monumental amount of cash before thanking White before sharing a handshake and a hug.

Alongside the clip – which has been viewed 1.4 million times on Instagram – the YouTuber wrote: “$250,000 for my birthday from the best f*****g mentor/friend i could ever ask for. I didn't know how much money this was until after the video. I am in f*****g shock. Thank u so fucking much @danawhite.”
The gift did not go down well with UFC fans though, with many slamming White for gifting the monumental amount to a YouTuber amid the row over fighter pay within his organisation. Unsurprisingly the championship boss has hit back at his critics and defended his choice of gift.
He said: “Let me set this record straight. First of all, all these people on the internet, go f*** yourselves. Ok. I spend my money however the f*** I want to spend my money. Mind your own f****ng business.
“No. 2, if you look at what Kyle and the Nelk Boys have done as far as how they’re handling and a lot of other things that they’ve done, those kids have never asked me for anything, ever. They’ve never asked me for anything, and they couldn’t be better people.

“Kyle has done so many things for me. Believe me, the $250,000 that I gave him for his birthday, it does not cover the amount of things that kid has done for me.” A large proportion of White’s criticism came from fighters, with a number of them clearly unhappy with the president’s money distribution.
Former fighter Dan Hardy wrote on Twitter: “Retweet if you think Uncle Dana should give all of the UFC’s top 15 ranked fighters $250,000 for their next birthday,” whilst Louis Smolka added: “When we starting the union bois.”
It wasn’t all criticism for the UFC boss though as Alan Jouban reiterated White’s claim that he is able to spend his own money as he wishes. Jouban tweeted: “I think everyone involved with the UFC would love a surprise $250k! But what Dana does with his personal money is up to him!”
