The American had to be taken to a local hospital after the impressive performance from Fury
Fury told BT Sport: ‘Tyson smashes him to pieces and makes him quit and cry. A man when he is pressured and has had a hard time, he will crack at the seams and when he cracks, the cracks will spread from Manchester and back. I bet you £50,000, £100,000.
‘He hasn’t fought anybody. Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield would have done my son in two rounds [in 2018].
‘He shouldn’t have been in there. He had all this saggy skin like a blown up balloon. I was in better shape.
‘He was as weak as a kitten. He said “my self belief and determination is enough to beat him as I know he hasn’t got it”. ‘
‘I will be the first to say I’m wrong but I know what my son is capable of.’
Fury senior’s prediction came true and his son is now targeting a fight against Anthony Joshua next.
