Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down a $100m offer to fight Floyd Mayweather a week after his retirement, according to manager Ali Abdelaziz.
The Russian has been retired since defending his UFC lightweight championships belt against Justin Gaethje last October.
Despite this, the Eagle has been linked with several comebacks against fighters such as Conor McGregor, who he defeated during a controversial bout in 2018.
And Abdelaziz, who worked with the Russian as the founder of Dominance MMA Management, revealed the ex-MMA star received an incredible offer.
Speaking on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Khabib’s manager said: “You know, Khabib got offered $100million after he was retired to fight Floyd Mayweather.
"$100million. $100million. You can ask Floyd. You can ask everybody.
"Khabib said ‘No, I'm retired. I told my mother I'm retired. I'm going to keep my word to my mother. If my mother told me to fight again, maybe I will. But right now, she told me not to fight’.”
Mayweather is unbeaten in 50 professional fights, coming out of retirement for a second time to see off Khabib’s former rival McGregor four years ago.
And the American, who is the richest athlete on the Forbes list at nearly $300m, claims he will make another $100m from his exhibition bout with Logan Paul.
Khabib’s manager also revealed that the former MMA star had received an offer from a former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion.
“Two weeks ago, [or] 10 days ago, Dana White called me,” Abdelaziz added.
“He said, 'Georges St-Pierre, he said he'll fight Khabib in a non-title fight at 165 pounds.'
“In a way, we've been waiting for Georges. I like Georges. He's my friend. I like Georges. We've been waiting for Georges for four or five years. 'I'm coming. I'm not coming;.
“Now, [he] said, 'Hey, Khabib is retired. I'm retired. What about coming back and fighting Khabib now?’”
