The heavyweight world champion has not fought since he beat Anthony Joshua back in Saudi Arabia this time last year, a fight he won to take his professional record to 20-0.

The win in Jeddah was the 36-year-old's second win over Joshua, who faced Usyk a year prior at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, losing out via a unanimous decision.

With talks over a fight between Usyk and Tyson Fury having stalled, the Ukrainian fighter eventually opted to face Dubois, who last fought back in December when he beat Kevin Lerena.
