Tyson Fury banned wife Paris from Las Vegas mansion before Deontay Wilder bout

Tyson Fury banned his wife from his Las Vegas mansion on the eve of the biggest fight of his career.

The ‘Gypsy King’ appeared supremely focused as he arrived at the MGM Garden Arena ahead of his eagerly-anticipated WBC world title rematch against Deontay Wilder- almost 15 months on from their controversial split-decision draw in Los Angeles.

In preparation for the rematch, Fury has spent the last two months in Sin City along with his newly-devised coaching team and some members of his family.

But it has emerged that Paris, the mother of his five children who will be at ringside tonight – was forced to wait to see her husband until he arrived at the MGM Grand hours before his big heavyweight fight.

“I’ve been barred from the house. I don’t quite understand,” she told iFL TV .

“The boys are all there and they’ve all said it’s a serious fight.

“But I don’t think they realise that I’ve been here for 11 years and I understand all the rules and regulations of nights before fights, so I’m just going along with it.

"Tyson was happy to go along with it and I’m OK.

“I’m going to go back today and just chat to him and then come back to the hotel and chill with the girls.”

Fury and Wilder have both arrived at the MGM Grand, with not long to go now until they lock horns for a second time.

The Brit rocked up to the arena wearing an extravagant suit covered in pictures of himself as wife Paris eventually joined him backstage to provide some last-minute support in his dressing room alongside his entourage – including Love Island winner brother Tommy.

WWE stars Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were spotted speaking with him behind the scenes, too, having crossed paths when the boxing star ventured into wrestling back in October.

Wilder looked in complete tunnel vision when he rocked up to the arena, hand in hand with wife Telli Swift.

The Bronze Bomber has the backing of former five-division world champion Sugar Ray Leonard tonight, who believes his superior speed and power will prove the difference.

“I like Deontay Wilder to win, possibly by knockout, but, in truth, I don't see either guy being knocked out,” he said.

“I think that Wilder not only has that powerful right hand, but that he has improved in his ability to set it up.

“On the other hand, I know that Tyson Fury has excellent boxing abilities and a tremendous chin from the way that he got up from the two knockdowns in their previous fight.

“In the end, I think that Wilder is always in shape and that he will use his speed and power to get the job done.”
