WWE legend Triple H declared Tyson Fury’s win over Deontay Wilder an “unbelievable performance” – but fans are not happy.
The Gypsy King saw off his rival in seven rounds at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
It sees the Mancunian win the WBC heavyweight title, 14 months after the first attempt ended in a draw.
The fight came after spending time away from the ring, swapping for WWE in October.
And Triple H, now an executive in the organisation, gave an assessment of Fury’s latest fight.
Speaking to Fox Sports, the 50-year-old said: “Amazing fight, I’ve got to tell you.
“Deontay Wilder showed a lot of heart.

“What a fighting spirit, just kept on going.
“But Tyson Fury put in an unbelievable performance.
“His short kind of boxing.
“It doesn’t get any better.”

This footage was shared on Twitter on Sunday morning.
But fans of the Gypsy King were not happy with the WWE legend’s assessment of the fight.
“Wilder tried his best to get out of that fight,” one said.
“That’s not heart.”
Another commented: “It seems to me you’re giving more credit to the loser than the winner.

“Stick to wrestling buddy.”
While a third suggested why the wrestling legend gave his analysis.
“Of your he would say that because he needs Fury for WWE,” they said.
And a fourth simply added: “Fury boxed his head off.
“Completely outclassed Wilder.”

The Gypsy King put Wilder on the floor two times before the American’s corner intervened and referee Kenny Bayless waved off the fight.
And thoughts have quickly turned to who Fury will fight next.
Promoter Eddie Hearn was quick to share his thoughts on the fight, leading to speculation of an decider against four-belt champion Anthony Joshua.
While the Bronze Bomber could be in line for another rematch with the Mancunian.
