Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday for allegedly possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle, Los Angeles Police Department public information officer Tony Im confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.
Clark was booked into jail Monday morning and released at 2:30 p.m. PT after posting $35,000 bond, according to Sherriff’s Department arrest records
LAPD pulled Clark over for an unspecified vehicle code violation when officers noticed an Uzi sticking out of an open bag, Im said. Police took Clark in for questioning before booking him with the felony charge.
According to the Kansas City Star, the Chiefs are aware of Clark’s arrest but have not yet commented on the situation.
