Former Ohio State star Chase Young will not participate in drills at this week's NFL scouting combine, according to reports.
Young, who is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2020 draft, will instead spend the week undergoing medical exams and interviewing with prospective teams. NFL Network's Ian Rapaport was the first to report the news.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Young, a defensive end, will still take part in drills at Ohio State's pro day.
Young was a unanimous All-American last season, setting the Buckeyes' single-season record in sacks with 16.5. In January, he announced that he was forgoing his senior season and declaring for the NFL Draft draft in April.
