Rugby league legend Andrew Johns has implored the Broncos to start from scratch because he can’t see Anthony Seibold at the club beyond 2020.
The Broncos are reeling in 14th place at halfway mark of the season and have lost seven of their last eight games.
Reports of an ultimatum to win at least five of his remaining 10 games have been denied by the club, but Johns believes even that isn’t a realistic target for this Broncos team.

They finish the season with clashes against the Panthers, Titans, Eels and Cowboys.
Given the way they are playing and their large injury toll the Broncos can really only count themselves a realistic chance of toppling the Titans and Cowboys.
That makes an unthinkable first wooden spoon in the club’s history a real possibility.

Seibold has changed up his side for their clash with the Storm, with Tom Dearden coming in at halfback, Brodie Croft shifting to five-eighth and Anthony Milford to fullback.
It is a bold move from Seibold, who had to make changes as he fights to save his job, with his five-year contract at Red Hill in danger of being cut short after two years.

Blues coach Brad Fittler went as far as to say he felt sorry for the Broncos, which is a first in his time in rugby league.
“Watching them behind the try-line, watching them after the game do interviews, they look rudderless, they look soulless,” Fittler said.
“I feel sorry for them. I’ve never felt sorry for footy teams before, but I feel sorry for them.”
