The Melbourne Storm are the first team through to the NRL 2020 Grand Final, with just the minor premiership winning Panthers left to battle it out with the Rabbitohs for the top spot.

The start to the match will be key to both sides chances, especially given the how the Rabbitohs have given up early leads in their last three matches before coming back to win. The Panthers have lost just one game for the 2020 season and if Souths are to be a chance tonight they need to dominate from the first minute.

Penrith will need to be at their best defensively to slow the Cody Walker juggernaut, with South Sydney scoring an incredible 144 points in their past three matches. Alarmingly the Rabbitohs have beaten the Panthers in seven of their last eight games at ANZ stadium.
The Panthers will miss Viliame Kikau through suspension, while the Rabbitohs will be without strike centre Campbell Graham after he succumbed to a groin injury. Kikau has been replaced in the starting side by Kurt Capewell, while former Panther Jed Cartwright will replace Graham in the centres.
