Wales take on Ireland this afternoon as both teams get their Six Nations campaigns under way.
Ireland were 24-14 winners when the sides met in last year’s edition of the competition and went on to finish third behind champions England and runners-up France, while Wales finished in a lowly fifth place.
Ireland, however, will be without forwards Caelan Doris and Quinn Roux in Cardiff today; Leinster No. 8 Doris, who was arguably his country’s standout performer during the Autumn Nations Cup, has symptoms of concussion, while South Africa-born lock Roux has a neck complaint.
Wayne Pivac, entering his second Six Nations as Wales coach, will hope to see his team capitalise.
