Angel Di Maria clearly doesn’t look back at his time with Manchester United with fond memories and current Paris Saint-Germain ace Marcin Bulka claims the winger “hates” his former club and can’t stand to watch them on television. There was plenty of hope and expectation when United snapped up Di Maria from Real Madrid in 2014 in a deal worth close to £60million.
He got off to a strong start to life at Old Trafford, playing his part in six goals in his opening five Premier League games.
But his influence slowly dwindled throughout the season as fan pressure soon mounted on the former club-record signing.
United cut their losses on Di Maria just a year after signing him and the Argentina international is certainly happier in his current surroundings.
And it seems the 32-year-old doesn’t want any part of United in his life now, with Bulka going as far to say Di Maria turns off the television whenever the Red Devils are playing.

“Di Maria hates Manchester United,” Bulka said on Polish YouTube channel Foot Truck.
“He has no good memory of the time he spent there.
“In fact, when something related to Manchester United appears on television, he changes the channel quickly.”
Di Maria made his return to Old Trafford last year with PSG with the atmosphere turning sour whenever he touched the ball.

An early challenge from former United captain Ashley Young, sending Di Maria crashing into the advertising boards was met with rapturous cheers from the United crowd.
That only seemed to fuel Di Maria further as he cupped his ears to seemingly taunt the Old Trafford crowd.
And it clearly worked as the PSG attacker set up both goals as PSG ran out 2-0 winners, with one particular wild celebration going viral on social media.
Di Maria could be seen gesturing aggressively towards the home fans and it appeared Argentinian said “f*** off putas (whores)”.

Another iconic scene from the match was when a beer bottle was thrown at Di Maria when he was taking a corner.
Instead of reacting to the moment in anger, Di Maria pretended to drink from it in jest.
Incredibly, Di Maria came under investigation for the beer bottle incident after the game by UEFA, but no punishment was handed down.
United meanwhile memorably turned around the 2-0 deficit in the second leg in Paris as Marcus Rashford scored a controversial winner from the penalty spot in stoppage time – a result which ultimately led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer becoming the permanent United boss.
