Barcelona star Ansu Fati had his house broken into while he watched his side defeat Catalan rivals Espanyol 1-0 at the Nou Camp.
The home side claimed all three points thanks to a Memphis Depay penalty to start off the Xavi Hernandez reign in style, but things couldn't be worse away from the on-field action for Fati.
Fati was ruled out of the match due to ongoing injury problems that continue to stall his career progression, and while sat on the sidelines unbeknown to him, his house was being broken into.
To make matters even more terrifying for the star, part of his family were home during the time.
According to La Vanguardia, Fati's home in Sant Cugat was robbed during the game against Espanyol, and members of the player's family were present during the break-in.
The report states that the intruders entered the house whilst some of Fati's family were downstairs, but after calling the police the responding officers are said to have found no one there.
The 19-year-old has reportedly claimed that he was robbed of money, watches and other jewellery during the intrusion during the match.

The star was forced to sit out of Xavi's first game in charge after sustaining an injury in Barcelona's last match against Celta Vigo before the international break, as they surrendered at three-goal lead to draw 3-3.
Fati scored the opener that day, but was taken off shortly before Celta Vigo's first goal, and Barcelona collapsed from that moment on.
It's not been an easy ride for Fati this season, and his new injury comes after just recovering from a separate long-term issue in September.
