Arsenal have confirmed that Sead Kolasinac could be out in the long-term after suffering a ‘significant shoulder injury’ against Everton.
Kolasinac was forced off with a shoulder problem early on in the enthralling 3-2 victory against Everton at the Emirates last weekend, which was his first appearance in six weeks following an ankle injury.
And now he has suffered another setback ahead of the business end of the season, with Arsenal confirming the injury as ‘significant’ ahead of the Europa League clash with Olympiacos.

On Wednesday, the Gunners said: ‘Sead suffered a significant right shoulder injury during Everton (h) on Sunday. He will undergo further specialist assessments during this week.’
Manager Mikel Arteta has been short of players in the left back position in recent times due to Kolasinac’s problems and Kieran Tierney’s long-term shoulder injury.
However, teenager Bukayo Saka has deputised superbly at left back under Arteta and is continuing to go from strength-to-strength.
