Arsenal fans have trolled Harry Kane after the striker’s latest failed attempt to win a major trophy with Tottenham.
Kane was a surprise inclusion in the Spurs side which faced Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, after being listed as an injury doubt leading into the match.
Perhaps due to that injury, though with City also at their dominant best, Kane had a minimal impact on the final, failing to have a shot across the 90 minutes.
Pep Guardiola’s side were camped in the Spurs half for most of the game, though it took until the 82 nd minute for Aymeric Laporte to break the deadlock and head in the winner.
It marks the latest failed attempt by Kane to win a major trophy, with the 27-year-old also seeing the Premier League title and Champions League slip through his grasp during his time at Spurs.
It is precisely that failure which has led to reports that Kane is now considering demanding a summer departure so that he can finally lay his hands on some silverware.
There was a group aside from City fans who were delighted with Kane’s failure to win the Carabao Cup, with Arsenal supporters taking to Twitter to show their joy.
Gunners fans tweeted out photos of Kane in Arsenal kit celebrating the club’s Invincible Premier League win, while he was in the club’s academy.
“The Last time Harry Kane celebrated a trophy,” one tweeted out with a photo of Kane at the club’s trophy parade.
As well as that photo, Arsenal fans also picked up on the fact that former player Yaya Sanogo has won more major trophies than Kane.
“I’m still trying to work out how it’s 2021 and Yaya Sanogo has more trophies than Harry Kane,” AFTV pundit DT wrote.
Sanogo currently plays for Championship side Huddersfield Town, but won the FA Cup and the Community Shield during a four-year spell at Arsenal.

And Gunners fans followed DT in taking delight that their former midfielder has more winner’s medals than the highly-rated Kane.
“Yaya Sanogo has more more trophies in English football than Arry Kane and Son combined. Unreal,” one tweeted.
