Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch ‘is attracting interest from a trio of Premier League clubs as well as Inter Milan.’

Arsenal, Southampton and Newcastle United are reportedly keen on the 24-year-old Austria international, who has a release clause of €25million (£21.1m).

Sport Bild report that the release clause figure only applies to Premier League clubs, while those from other leagues can buy Grillitsch for €20m (£16.9m).

The Austria international, 24, is available to Premier League clubs for £21m 

Accordingly, there is concrete interest from Southampton and Newcastle, while Arsenal and Inter have scouted the player.

The clause was agreed upon when Grillitsch, who has played 24 times for Hoffenheim this season, signed a contract extension until the summer of 2022.

This is his third season at Hoffenheim, having emerged from the Werder Bremen academy to play 54 matches over two seasons for their first team.

Grillitsch has been capped 15 times for Austria, who have qualified for Euro 2020.
