Arsenal’s Bellerin ‘offered to PSG’ with exit expected before window shuts

Arsenal star Hector Bellerin has been offered to Paris St-Germain as talks over his future continue.

The Spain right-back has had a horrid year with injuries and form and Mikel Arteta is keen on seeing him leave.

The Gunners coach has his own plans on who he wants to play in the position and Bellerin does not fit.

The 25-year-old would also command a decent fee, something that has intrigued Arsenal.

Arteta is desperate to land Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid but they are demanding his full release clause.

That stands at £45m and with Gabriel Magalhaes signing for £27m, the funds are simply not there.

According to RMC Sport, it has led to Arsenal offering Bellering to PSG in an attempt to boost the coffers.

The Ligue 1 champions are in the maket for a right-back after losing Thomas Meunier to Borussia Dortmund.

Thilo Kehrer has been occupying the role but has failed to impress Thomas Tuchel.

The German defender was somewhat at fault for the goal against Bayern Munich that cost them the Champions League trophy.

The Bavarians downed PSG 1-0 as a result of Kingsley Coman's goal, a former academy graduate at the French club.

Regarldess, the Parc des Princes is still an attractive project for many players and Bellerin is no different.

The Spaniard has been at Arsenal for nine years after making the move from Barcelona's academy.

He has made over 200 appearances for the Gunners but his time now looks like it could be over.

It comes during a time when the Emirates outfit is in the process of selling Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

It means it would leave only Cedric Soares as the club's only recognised right-back.

Calum Chambers can also play the position but his fuure is also in doubt as Arteta plots a major squad overhaul.
