Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher has made an offer to NBA legend LeBron James after Liverpool reached the Champions League final on Tuesday evening.
The Reds survived a first-half scare from Villarreal – who found themselves level on aggregate, and Liverpool looked out on their feet. But Jurgen Klopp's side dug deep and found the net three times in the second half to blow Villarreal out.
And after the full-time whistle, the NBA legend tweeted: "PARIS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!! @LFC!" And Carragher has now offered James a spot pitchside – alongside himself and the CBS team – for the Champions League final.
Carragher said: "LeBron, if you want to come to Paris you can join me, and the CBS team, and you can be my guest pitchside.
"I want you next to us in Paris to give us the support that we need to win that seventh European Cup. Come and join us, big man!"
James is an outspoken Liverpool fan, and he owns a stake in the club. The forward bought 2 per cent of Liverpool with his business partner Maverick Carter for £4.7million in April 2011.
