England’s record goalscorer Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen have been gearing up for the Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark – and their kids are already fed up.
England beat Germany and Ukraine on their way to the semi-finals, where they will face Denmark, who have been impressive all tournament and knocked out Wales and the Czech Republic on their way to the final.
And Rooney, who is now the head coach of Derby County, has put his club allegiances aside to get behind Gareth Southgate’s team.
Rooney shared a video on his Instagram story this morning, filmed by wife Coleen, waking the kids up to the famous 'Three Lions' song by The Lightning Seeds, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner as it blasted around the bedrooms.
The kids, visibly annoyed, were woken up by the loud music, with one of the four complaining in the background.
Rooney was part of the England set-up between 2003 and 2018, winning 120 caps and scoring 53 goals.
He also starred in his first major international tournament for England at Euro 2004, where he became the youngest scorer in competition history and netted four goals throughout the competition.
Other England legends have been voicing their thoughts about the game too.

Ian Wright spoke on ITV about approaching the game with caution and not underestimating Denmark while Rio Ferdinand was more confident on the BBC, saying the Three Lions could beat Italy in the final, even though a ball hasn’t been kicked against Denmark.
Having lost their last international semi-final to Croatia at the 2018 World Cup, Southgate’s team will be hoping to do better here and go one step ahead.
