Neymar has been slammed as “crazy” by French media as PSG and Mauricio Pochettino are facing pressure following their loss to Lille.
Les Parisiens lest their place at the top of Ligue 1 with a 1-0 defeat to their title race rivals.
While events on the pitch did not go to plan, it descended into chaos after the full-time whistle when their star man was involved in a tunnel scuffle following a red card.
The loss was a second in four games for Mauricio Pochettino in his 20th game of the season.
And French outlet L’Equipe held nothing back in their critique of the club following their loss to Lille.
The newspaper point out similarities in the set up of the starting XI to some of their most recent performances.
Pochettino has been using a 4-2-3-1 for the last four games, putting Kylian Mbappe on the left wing as Neymar came into the attacking midfield position.
While it worked in the French Cup round-of-16 3-0 win over Lille, their multi-million stars could not find a way through the new Ligue 1 leaders despite 16 shots.
And the report claimed that it made the team lack mobility, pace and high intensity to attack with purpose.
The criticism was also repeated by TV channel Telefoot , with pundit and former France defender Bixente Lizarazu laying into the side.
Speaking after the game at the Parc des Princes, he said: “As soon as things don't turn out in his favour Neymar goes crazy.
“He tripped when he was back after two months of injury, and preparing for a Champions League match. He is a fantastic player but his behaviour is not teammate behaviour.”
