Cristiano Ronaldo has been encouraged to confront Harry Maguire in the Manchester United dressing room following his latest performance for the club.
Maguire has struggled for form so far this season since starring for England at the Euros in the summer and was at fault once more in Tuesday's draw with Atalanta.
The United captain played Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata onside and then missed his attempted tackle on the Colombian as he put the Italian's 2-1 in front.
Maguire's blushes were spared by Ronaldo, who rescued a point for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side with another stoppage-time goal, having also drawn the sides level in first-half injury time.
However, Ronaldo has been told he should confront Maguire and the rest of the United defenders in the United dressing room by former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: “We used to come in at half-time sometimes, I remember Fabian Delph used to shout at the keeper and defence: ‘a clean sheet wins us a game’.
“When you are winning one or two-nil, ‘a clean sheet wins us the game’.
“If I’m Ronaldo, I’m in the changing room like ‘any chance Harry? Any chance lads of a clean sheet? Any danger?’ Because sometimes can’t you just go one-on-one with your striker and stop them scoring?
“The defending, honestly, they look like conceding every time they play don’t they and if there was better finishing yesterday, Atalanta could have scored four or five.”

The draw was enough to keep Manchester United top of their group, but Villarreal's win over Young Boys mean that the two sides are only separated on goal difference with two matches remaining.
Ronaldo's brace also takes his tally in Europe this season to five goals in just four matches, but he remains three goals behind Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowksi in the scoring charts.
However, it is Maguire's performances that will concern Solskjaer, as the England international also gifted a goal away in the recent loss to Leicester City.
Agbonlahor still feels that Maguire is England's best central defender but did admit he would target the 28-year-old if he came up against him.
“Even Harry Maguire now, he’s been in bad form but I’d still put him as England’s best centre half, who’s going to take his place?" he went on to add.
“It’s a shame with Maguire because he looks like a good lad doesn’t he Maguire, like an honest lad, done well in the Euros, tries his hardest doesn’t he.
“When you know that a defender is struggling, you’re going to target him, now if I’m at a team playing against Manchester United, I’m targeting that side.”
Maguire will hope to put Tuesday's match behind him quickly, with United hosting Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday in the first Manchester derby of the season.
