Arsenal duo David Luiz and Willian are both happy at the club and will not seek to leave the club this summer, according to a report in football.london.
Each of the Brazilian players have been linked with moves away from the Gunners this summer but it is now claimed that each will remain at the club beyond the current campaign.
Luiz is out of contract in North London this summer and is said to have a number of options on the table for a move away with teams in Portugal, the United Arab Emirates and MLS all said to be monitoring his future.
The talismanic central defender celebrated his 34 th birthday last month and it remains unclear if the Gunners will renew his deal, as they did a year ago.
However, he is not actively seeking an exit from the club and is keeping his options open – although he would unlikely to be a regular at the Emirates next season.
Rob Holding, Gabriel Magahales and Pablo Mari are all first-choice options in the position, while William Saliba is set to return following a year away and Calum Chambers can be deployed in the position.
The situation of Willian appears to be much more stable, with his contract running through to the summer of 2023.
The forward penned a three-year deal last summer following the expiration of his contract at Chelsea, where he made 339 first-team appearances across seven seasons.
However, the former Shakhtar Donestk star has failed to replicate that form at Arsenal – his strike in last week’s win over West Brom was his first goal for the club.
The 32-year-old has lost his place in the starting line-up in recent months with Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe all establishing themselves in attacking roles.
