Eden Hazard unveils bold new haircut as Real Madrid star takes barber challenge

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has followed Manchester United players Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial in getting a dramatic new haircut.

The Belgian has endured a tough start to life in Spain, with a foot injury seeing him only score one goal in 15 appearances.

But he has been a regular on Instagram, frequently sharing his trip to top barber A-Star.

His latest haircut, though, was a job from coronavirus quarantine which has seen the forward cut all his hair off.

Hazard can be seen smiling widely in a FaceTime call with A-Star Barbers, with the hair from his head gone.

This follows United stars Pogba and Martial, who both opted for the bald look earlier this week.

The trend appeared to be set by former Red Devils star Antonio Valencia.

Hazard’s snap earned thousands of likes within hours of being posted on A-Star Barbers’ Instagram channel on Thursday.

And fans were left baffled by the Real forward’s new look.

While a third could not hold back their emotions.

“Is that real,” they said.

“I want to cry, seeing his beautiful long hair gone.”

But his comments in London have come back to haunt the 29-year-old.

Upon signing with Madrid, Hazard said: "I've dreamt about this since I was little, I always supported Real Madrid. Then I went to France and England and wearing this shirt now is a true honour."

But Blues star Reece James wants to see the Belgian back at Stamford Bridge, despite his poor form at the Bernabeu.
