Manchester United hero Gary Neville has gone on a lengthy rant over the failings of the Red Devils board.
United were involved in a tame goalless draw with rivals Manchester City on Saturday, piling more pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Though Neville believes the anger from the Old Trafford faithful should be aimed at the board following a poor summer transfer window.
Just one signing was made before deadline day with a handful of players finally brought in as the window closed.
And though Neville admits Solskjaer is struggling, he reckons there is “dual culpability” in the issues United are having.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “Last season was massive, finishing third. I think that was a big, big moment for him. But I think now he has got to get close to City and Liverpool. And he has got to dominate matches.
“I don't see it at this moment in time. The performances I am watching are not anywhere near good enough.
Three things that impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about Man Utd's performance vs Man City
"We know him, he won't think they’re good enough. He won't think that first half against West Ham is anywhere near the standard that is going to get Manchester United to a title.
"He obviously will keep putting a positive spin on it and today said it's the best they've played against City but the reality of it is he'll know they're not performances that will win titles.
Luke Shaw says Man Utd were missing one of Bruno Fernandes' key qualities against Man City
“They're not; they're nowhere near. I've still got a thing in the back of my mind with this club that to allow a manager to win a title, you have to arm him with the players to do so.
“And have the ownership, the recruitment department, whatever you want to call them, done that?
"He needed another centre-back, he needed a right winger. They had to play Pogba left wing today, greenwood on the right wing. They're still fudging it. They have six midfield players and trying to fit them all in.

"It is square pegs in round holes all the time, I don't think they have given any manager in the last five or six years a team that can win the title.
“That's the job of the people above. For me, there's dual culpability in terms of why Manchester United aren't successful.
“Ole's lack of success in not winning a title will not just be down to him but he's got to get close with that group of players and start dominating matches."
