Jude Bellingham’s wonderkid brother, 16, could also swap Birmingham for Dortmund

Jude Bellingham’s younger brother is reportedly being pursued by Borussia Dortmund as the German giants look to reunite the two at the Signal Iduna Park.

The older Bellingham, 18, joined Dortmund from Birmingham City for a £30million fee in July 2020, choosing them over Manchester United due to a clearer route into the first-team.

Jude has gone on to represent England at Euro 2020 and the Nations League while registering an impressive 61 appearances for BVB already.

Now The Sun report that 16-year-old Jobe Bellingham could follow in his brother’s footsteps by joining the club from Birmingham in the hope of reaching similar stardom.

It is reported that the Bundesliga club initially registered their interest in the youngster, aged just 14, when they initially signed Jude.

Jobe, who turned 16 last month, nearly broke his brother’s record of being Birmingham’s youngest ever player at 15 but was left on the bench in the EFL Cup.

He is still yet to make his senior debut under Lee Bowyer, though his record at youth level gives an indication of the kind of ability he possesses.

And The Blues wonderkid already has three goals in five appearances for the club’s u18s this season as he gives Bowyer something to consider.

Meanwhile, Jude has become an integral part of Dortmund’s side this season and a fan-favourite due to his excellent technical ability, intelligence and signature crunching tackles.

The box-to-box midfielder has scored three goals this season, including a stunner against Ingolstadt on Tuesday where he finished off a mazy run in the box with an exquisite chip.
