Graeme Souness and Roy Keane slammed West Ham and David Moyes for substituting on Mark Noble to take the vital last penalty in their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
The Hammers' captain was introduced in the 94th minute to take a vital spot-kick, which would have secured the East Londoners a well-earned point against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
Unfortunately, the 34-year-old's penalty was soft and was saved by David De Gea and West Ham finished on the losing side.
However, Souness and Keane were not sympathetic to Noble or Moyes, citing he should not have been introduced to take the penalty.
"Strange decision, he can’t have warmed up properly because it was so late in the game. I didn’t fancy him, I thought De Gea would save it.," said Keane.
"You can say he’s took penalties before and he’s experienced, I don’t care.
You have players on the pitch who are up to speed and slot the ball away."

West Ham took the lead with a deflected effort by Said Benrahma, but were soon pegged back by a close range finish by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Jesse Lingard looked to have secured the victory with a stunning strike at the end of the game, only for West Ham to be given the penalty in the closing stages.
However, De Gea's save from Noble secured a fifth Premier League victory in four games for the Reds.

But the biggest moment was the late penalty and Souness echoed Keane's feelings.
"It’s a poor decision, it’s the 94th minute he’s come on as a sub in the 94th minute, he’s stone cold, one or two things the managers decision and said on you go or Noble’s said get me on boss.
"Either way it’s the wrong decision, stone cold, doesn’t matter if he scores every penalty in training or every penalty before you don’t bring someone on who is stone cold been sat watching the game. It’s wrong."
