Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has revealed that he had private training pitch built during his time at AS Roma.
The Egyptian spent two seasons in the Italian capital with Roma, initially joining on loan from Chelsea, before making the move permanent prior to his Anfield switch.
Salah had failed to break into double figures in a league campaign prior to his first season at the Stadio Olimpico in 2015/16, having been seen as more of a wide-man.
But his tallies of 14 and 15 respectively show exactly where he first started to find his shooting boots.
And it seems that he may have been getting in some extra practice too.
Speaking to GQ, Salah revealed that he rented a separate house while in Rome, and a had private training pitch built in the back garden.
This was to allow him to practice his shooting when he wasn't at the training ground.
And there can be absolutely no doubting that it has paid off, twice winning the Premier League Golden Boot award, and playing a key role in Liverpool's Premier League and Champions League successes.

Salah has come a long way from the weak winger that failed to impress Jose Mourinho and could not find the back of the net.
But after years of hard work on and off the training pitch, Salah is clearly in a terrific headspace that has allowed him to develop into undoubtedly one of the best players in the world.
