Liverpool player ratings as Reds left without superstar impact despite win

Liverpool kept their title charge on track – with a little help from Lukasz Fabianski.

Jurgen Klopp's men came from behind to sink West Ham 3-2 in a thrilling clash at Anfield to pile on the pain for David Moyes.

The win saw the Reds equal Manchester City's record of 18 straight top flight wins as well as match their own record of 21 successive home triumphs set back in 1972.

But the champions-in-waiting had blundering Fabianski to thank after the Polish international allowed Georgino Wijnaldum's opener to go through his right hand, before letting Mo Salah's tame shot squeeze underneath him to level the scores on 69 minutes.

Issa Diop and substitute Pablo Fornals scored in between as the Hammers threatened a shock win, but Sadio Mane tapped in from close range on 80 minutes to leave the runaway leaders just four games from their first title in 30 years.
