Luke Shaw feels Man Utd are reaping the benefits of experience as he urged his teammates to "keep the standards high" for the season's crucial run-in.
United are on a 10-match unbeaten run as they push for a Premier League top four place while competing for silverware in two cup competitions.
The Red Devils saw off rivals Man City in the local derby on Sunday, as Shaw helped his side keep another clean sheet.
With three points separating them and Chelsea above them in the table, United now head into a season-defining period, and Shaw believes it is all to play for.
"Like I keep saying, we're still in two cup competitions and the top four is still very much alive, so we've got to keep putting the pressure on," Shaw said.
"We've got to try not to focus too much on other teams. We need to just focus on us, focus on our results and the confidence is so high.
"We're shutting up shop again and keeping clean sheets, which is a very good positive, so we need to keep going.
Adding of United's change in mentality, Shaw said: "I think back then, at the start with Ole, emotions got too much and I think we didn't maintain that, and I think this time we're in different sort of position.
"We're probably more experienced with it now, because it was very disappointing the way we dropped off and that's not Manchester United .
"We need to keep the standards high. I'm sure the boss and the coaches around us will keep pushing , but also us as players we need to push each other every day to get to where we want to be. I have no doubt that we can finish off the season really strong."
United travel to Austria for the first of their two-leg Europa League last-16 tie with LASK on Thursday, before a crunch clash with Tottenham in the league.
And they set up themselves up perfectly with a confidence-boosting 2-0 victory over City.
