Manchester United fans could be welcoming back Paul Pogba sooner than expected as he offered an update on Instagram.
The France international has been sidelined since Boxing Day and underwent surgery on his ankle problem after originally being ruled out for just three weeks by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer .
In the last update offered by the Norwegian he insisted that the 26-year-old is not yet close to a return, but the caption of the video Pogba posted on social media suggests otherwise.
"He's not been part of team training yet," Solskjaer said ahead of the 1-1 draw with Club Brugge.

"And it will depend on how he feels, or when he feels ready to do that. So he's not anywhere near that yet."
Pogba’s video shows him working hard in the gym and running in a pool to build up his strength. The clip also shows the former Juventus man dancing and working with a ball, which hints that he is no longer feeling any pain.
The post is accompanied with the word ‘Soon’ which is followed by an egg timer emoji which signifies him counting down the days.
Pogba and Solskjaer could be forced to have an awkward meeting when he returns to Carrington due to the recent outburst concerning his manager posted by agent Mino Raiola on Twitter.
The controversial character lashed out at the former Cardiff boss seemingly unprovoked, with Solskjaer having outlined his desire to see the player back in action at Old Trafford.
He had said: "Paul knows he has to work hard to get back to his best. He has been out now for so long now, it's a challenge to get back into shape."
Before adding: ”Well of course, I'd like to say that as soon as he gets fit, he'll be good enough to play for the team.
"I’m sure Paul's desperate to play for us again.”

With Raiola responding: “Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer’s property, Paul is Paul Pogba’s.
“You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else.
"I HOPE Solskjaer DO NOT WANT TO SUGGEST THAT PAUL IS HIS PRISONER.
“BUT BEFORE Solskjaer makes comments about things I say he better about the content of what has been said.”
