Frank Lampard wants four Chelsea deals

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard wants another four signings after completing a deal for Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech.

The Sun say Lampard could axe eight players this summer, with the Blues boss wanting four new stars.

Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell is a top target for the Blues, while Lampard is also eyeing Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho is also a possible signing for Chelsea, however, they face competition from Manchester United for the England international.

The winger would cost over £100m this summer, with Borussia Dortmund said to be willing to sell the 19-year-old.

Timo Werner development

Manchester United have made an offer to RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, it’s claimed. The Germany international has been tipped to head to the Premier League, with Liverpool, United and Chelsea all said to be eyeing the forward.

Werner has talked up a move to Liverpool to team up with his countryman Jurgen Klopp.

And according to The Athletic, United have made a proposal to Werner to beat Liverpool to the striker.

Werner has an offer from United – and Barcelona – however, the German is waiting to see whether Liverpool will make a move.

The Athletic add that there’s a clause in Werner’s Leipzig contract that allows him to agree a move away for £51m providing talks are wrapped up before an April deadline.

Man Utd to sell De Gea?

Manchester United could look to sell David de Gea at the end of the season in order to raise funds for a summer spending spree, according to Goal.

Dean Henderson could be promoted to first-team goalkeeper if that were to happen.

The Spaniard could still be on his way this summer, despite having signed a new contract in September to keep him at the club until 2023.

The 29-year-old is believed to be keen on a move back to Spain, but neither Real Madrid or Barcelona are keen to sign a new goalkeeper.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are believed to be two potential options.

Ed Woodward wants four Man Utd deals

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward wants Jack Grealish and three other signings this summer.

The Red Devils are desperate to land the Aston Villa star, with reports claiming United want to wrap up a deal by the end of the week.

And the Manchester Evening News say United are eyeing a defensive midfielder and two new forwards after they sign Grealish.

Grealish has been in fine form for Villa this season, with the 24-year-old expected to make England’s Euro 2020 squad at the end of the season.

Liverpool in advanced Timo Werner talks

Liverpool have taken a major step towards signing RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

The Reds have apparently offered the 23-year-old a blockbuster five-year contract to move to Anfield.

Transfer expert Nicolo Schira claimed Liverpool have triggered Werner’s £49million (€58m) release clause.

Personal negotiations are underway and the German striker has been offered a five-year contract worth £6.7m-a-year (€8m).

Schira wrote: “Liverpool have offered to Timo Werner a contract until 2025 with a wages of €8M+ bonuses a year.

“Talks ongoing to finalise the deal. #transfers #LFC.

“Liverpool are in advanced talks for Timo #Werner. Reds are ready to pay the clause (€58M) to #Leipzig and close the deal until April (when clause expires). #transfers #LFC.”

Chelsea exits

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is willing to axe eight players.

The Sun say Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley and Jorginho could be sold at the end of the season.

Kurt Zouma, Willian and Pedro are also under the microscope at Stamford Bridge after their 3-0 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Sun add that Lampard doesn’t feel Marcos Alonso and Emerson are good enough, with the Chelsea boss eyeing a new left-back.
