Manchester United fans are refusing to get too excited after seeing news break that Alex Telles has agreed personal terms ahead of a potential summer transfer. Friday proved to be one of the busiest days in the Premier League summer transfer window.
Liverpool announced a deal to sign Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich while both Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale arrived at Tottenham’s training ground with Jose Mourinho making a double swoop on Real Madrid.
Chelsea have got most of their business done early on but they are expected to complete the signing of Edouard Mendy in the near future.
Manchester City have also done good business in signing Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres.
United have spent big on signing Donny van de Beek, but it’s otherwise been a frustrating transfer window for the club.

Jadon Sancho reportedly remains the club’s top target despite Borussia Dortmund’s insistence that they won’t sell now.
There have been alternatives to Sancho such as Kingsley Coman, Douglas Costa and Ivan Perisic linked with a possible move to Old Trafford.
As well as targeting a winger though, Ed Woodward has also been looking at bringing in a left-back.
Reguilon was initially offered to United for £20m and reports claimed personal terms had already been agreed.

A fee is yet to be agreed though, with Paris Saint-Germain said to be rivalling United for his signature.
And that’s left some United fans cautious of the breaking news surrounding Telles.
One fan warned: “Remember we also agreed personal terms with Reguilon.”
Another tweeted: “Don’t get too happy look how close Reguilon was.”
A third said: “We agreed personal terms with Sancho Reguilon, Erling Haaland, Bale, Gabriel, thiago , Van de Beek now is Telles, we are always good in agreement of personal terms. Not a news anymore.”
A fourth posted: “I have a bad feeling though, that this will be a Reguilon 2.0, and PSG end up snatching Telles from us.”
Another wrote: “Telles – personal terms agreed, but the fee is apparently an issue and PSG are still lurking. I got so excited for Reggie, I’m not doing this again. Fingers crossed though.”
