Eduardo Camavinga is refusing to close the door on a move to Manchester United, despite having his heart set on joining Real Madrid. The 18-year-old is one of the most highly sought after teenagers in European football after breaking through at Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
The midfielder will have just one year left on his deal at the end of the season, with Rennes likely to cash in amind financial troubles.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid all believed to be tracking his situation, although his strong preference is a move to the Bernabeu.
That’s down to the man in the Los Blancos dugout Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman idolises the World Cup winner and has his heart set on linking up with him in Madrid.
However, Zidane’s own future with Real is uncertain, despite having a contract until the end of next season.

After being knocked out of the Copa Del Rey and finding themselves trailing behind Atletico Madrid in the league, it is likely the Champions League marks their best chance of a trophy.
According to Marca, should he fail to win Europe’s top prize, he is likely to be sacked due to the unwritten mantra that says a coach will leave if they fail to win a trophy.
Should Zidane leave Real, AS report that it will throw Camavinga’s plans in the air and therefore is keeping his options open about a move to English football.
The player’s agent, London-based Jonathan Barnett has labelled his client the ‘best young player in the world’ and suggested that while deals may be harder this summer, he still expects to break records.

“It is going to be harder. I’m expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records,” Barnett told the Athletic.
“Hopefully, they’ll come about. For the smaller clubs, I think there won’t be as many transfers. We have some very good players.
“We have probably the best young player in the world in Camavinga. We’ve got Grealish. We’ve got Konate at Leipzig. But then I’ve got over 100 players.”
Barnett added that he believes a move to the Premier League would suit Camavinga perfectly with his upbringing contributing to his tenacious personality.
“Camavinga can play next year in the Premier League,” he continued. “He is that good. Whether he will or not, I don’t know.
“His background has been tough if you know what he went through as a refugee and the burning of his home (in Rennes).
“But his character is amazingly strong. He is not your average 18-year-old.
“Playing in front of 100,000 people is not going to scare him. He’s a lovely boy and I think he’s going to be a superstar.”
Camavinga has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season and has recently represented France at Under-21 level.
