Manchester United’s owners the Glazers reportedly hold the key to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer selling Paul Pogba or not this summer. The France international is a Juventus and Real Madrid transfer target ahead of the summer window and he wants to leave Old Trafford behind for a new challenge.
Manchester United owners the Glazers parted with £89million to sign Pogba from Juventus back in 2016.
And, though the France international initially propelled them to EFL Cup and Europa League glory, he’s failed to ever justify such a huge outlay.
Pogba has been plagued by inconsistency throughout his second spell at United, enduring mixed form under both Jose Mourinho and Solskjaer.
Back in the summer, Solskjaer was able to convince the 26-year-old into staying put – at a time where both Real Madrid and Juventus were chasing his signature.
Pogba has since endured a nightmare campaign, with injury restricting him to just eight Premier League appearances so far.
He still wants to leave, with agent Mino Raiola doing nothing to shut down talk of a move away.

Yet the Telegraph say that, while Solskjaer would be in favour of Pogba going, the Glazers hold the key.
It is they who will decide what happens with Pogba – and whether he stays for another season or not.
The Glazers will also have the final say as to how much the 2018 World Cup winner could be sold for.
Last summer, United wanted £160million.
But the price has reportedly come down, with the Red Devils now likely to accept a lower fee.

Talk of a new contract for Pogba has also been floated but, given his desire to leave, that appears unlikely.
However, former United star Lee Sharpe would like to see the 26-year-old remain at Old Trafford.
“It’s a little bit messy,” Sharpe told Sky Sports. “It’s something that Ole could do without. I think Paul Pogba could do without it as well.
“He just needs to get himself fit, stay under the radar a bit and let his football do the talking.
“He’s the best player that United have got on his day, when he turns up and he plays.
“I really hope that the club keep him.
“The agent seems to be stirring up a can of worms just to get him away and get an extra buck for the transfer but, as far as I see, they should be building the team around him.
“Him and Fernandes in midfield would be a great partnership. As far I know, he loves it at United and he loves the club. It just depends on what happens this summer.
“They need him at the club. I don’t think he’s the troublemaker and the poisonous person in the dressing room that everyone makes him out to be.
“I think the players quite like him and get on with him. You don’t need the agent coming out and stirring up trouble like he has been doing.”
