Manchester United only have two players in their squad who will be at the club when they next win the Premier League, claims former Sunderland full-back Michael Gray. United’s hopes of a top-four finish this season were dented on Monday when they lost 1-0 at home to Wolves. The Red Devils are four points behind Arsenal in fourth but do have a game in hand over the Gunners.
Joao Moutinho’s fine strike inside the final 10 minutes secured a famous win for Wolves against a United side devoid of ideas in front of goal.
Interim boss Ralf Rangnick has not had the desired impact since replacing the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The German is in charge until the end of the season before taking up a consultancy role at Old Trafford.
United haven’t won a Premier League title since the retirement of former boss Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

And Gray believes it is clear United are still a long way from competing for top spot.
In fact, he thinks there are only two members of the current squad who will be at the club when United do finally end that wait for a title.
Gray named Mason Greenwood, 20, and Jadon Sancho 21, as the only two who will win a title at United.
“They’ve got big problems at Man United,” Gray told talkSPORT.

Four Man Utd players that West Ham could accept in Declan Rice swap deal [OPINION]
“I think I said this to a few of my mates the other day, [apart from] Greenwood and Sancho – everybody else in this Man United squad, I don’t think they’re ever going to see Man United win a Premier League title.
“You think about it, David de Gea, how old is he now? Are they going to win the Premier League while he’s there now?
“[Aaron] Wan-Bissaka, [Raphael] Varane are not going to be there, Phil Jones is probably not going to be there. Luke Shaw, question mark over him.
“[Nemanja] Matic and [Scott] McTominay, McTominay maybe, Matic is not going to be there.
“[Cristiano] Ronaldo’s age, [Edinson] Cavani’s age, and that’s why I only mention Greenwood and Sancho.
“If you look at the squad at Manchester United, the next time they are actually going to pick up a Premier League title, I don’t think any of those players are going to be there.
“And I put into that Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly as well.”
