Mikel Arteta mocked Harry Kane by insisting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang does not need to win trophies to be considered a Premier League great.
Aubameyang has been Arsenal ’s top performer since his big money move from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, scoring 60 goals.
But the Gabon international is yet to win any silverware with the Gunners and has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent times to help him chase trophies.
The 30-year-old has never won a league title or a European trophy and is desperate to relaunch his Champions League career.

And it is the same story for England captain Kane, who has netted 136 Premier League goals for Tottenham but also has nothing to show for it.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's Europa League against Olympiakos, Arteta said: “Harry Kane has scored 30 goals and never won the Premier League, you know?
“There are a lot of good examples of players that do phenomenally, but unfortunately there are a lot of top teams in this country and only one wins the league.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville claimed Aubameyang was still under-appreciated in England despite his record for Arsenal.
And Arteta, who has started his tenure with the Gunners well, agreed with the former Manchester United defender.
“If he had been top scorer in the league and won the league, then he would have been voted the best player in the league for sure,” he said.
“You need both. You need individual performance and you need the collective side of your team as well to support that.
