Mino Raiola has poured cold water on the chances of Juventus or any other club signing Paul Pogba this summer.

The super agent has often went public with his belief that the Frenchman should leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Old Trafford in search of pastures new.

But Raiola has tonight confirmed his client wants to stay put – and that Manchester United won't be entertaining any offers for the World Cup winner this summer.

Pogba is expected to put pen to paper on a new deal, ending speculation he could also depart next summer on a free.

“Pogba is staying at Manchester United and I think they are trying to extend his contract. We’ll discuss that soon, no stress," Raiola told Sky Sports.

“Manchester United have a project and he is 100 per cent a part of that.

"They won’t accept any offer for Pogba this summer.”

The news comes after Italian reports suggested new Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo wanted to sign his former team-mate in Turin.

Pogba and the Italian midfielder won countless trophies at the Allianz Stadium before the former returned to United in 2016.

Italian outlet Tuttosport last week reported Pirlo was eyeing a £90m transfer for the United man after replacing Maurizio Sarri in the Juventus hotseat.

But Pogba's upturn in form since returning from injury has left few thinking he would depart this summer, despite angling for a move this time last year.

"What Paul said, was said before. Since coming back from injury has been a delight," said Solskjaer last month.

"He has worked really hard, he is happy and he is playing well.

"We are going to see the best of Paul in the next couple of seasons, I’m sure.

"And I’m looking forward to seeing him grow with this team.

"He will have to be one of the leaders, one of the main figures, because he is just coming to his peak time as a footballer at 27."
