The forward is currently tied with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in third, one behind Danny Ings in second and two behind leading scorer Jamie Vardy.
Yet it’s not just the remainder of the campaign Salah is thinking about, he wants to stay at Anfield for the long haul.

Salah appeared to drop a hint on Instagram last Friday that he was definitely staying put after vowing to bring more joy to Liverpool supporters.
He posted a snap with Dejan Lovren, Roberto Firmino, Alisson and Fabinho at Liverpool’s secret Merseyside title party, which read: “Yes. It feels THAT good. I want to thank all our supporters watching us from all corners of the world.
“You made this possible for us and I hope we can keep bringing you the joy you deserve. Now they’re gonna believe us.”
