Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seen taking tablets from Arsenal doctor vs Leicester

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang worried Arsenal fans during the Premier League clash with Leicester as the striker was spotted taking some medication.

Aubameyang started as the Gunners took on the Foxes on Sunday evening with the forward having struggled at times this season.

He didn’t find it easy going against Leicester and fans were concerned when Aubameyang was seen taking tablets on the sidelines.

In the 24th minute, the Arsenal man was seen talking to a member of Gunners staff while taking medication with a drink.

One concerned fan commented: “Aubameyang needs rest. His output has also significantly reduced. He might be playing through an injury.”

While another added: “Aubameyang taking tablets for something… that’s a concern.”

Though some were not so worried, with one putting: “Aubameyang has been tested positive for being the best striker in the league and has been advised to take medicines.”

An another writing: “Arsenal team doctor is giving Aubameyang tablet Nitro.”

It’s unknown what the problem is for the Arsenal star, who continued playing at the Emirates.

Aubameyang hasn’t scored in the Premier League since the opening weekend though Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was playing down fears.

He said: “Expectations for him are that he has to score a goal every game so this comes with the nature of the big player he is, what he has done in the past.

“People expect that from him in the future. He needs to handle that, and we are here to support him when difficult times come round him.
