Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and will look for an opportunity to secure his services this summer, according to reports. The French heavyweights have already completed a move for Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer after the Dutchman failed to agree fresh terms with Liverpool.
PSG have been linked with a move for Pogba for some time, but it has been suggested that club chiefs could finally act on their interest ahead of the new campaign.
The United midfielder will be out of contract at the end of next season, with no movement regarding a new deal as of yet.
The situation leaves the Red Devils with a dilemma over whether to cash in this summer or risk losing the World Cup winner for nothing in a year’s time.
It remains to be seen whether Pogba will eventually agree to extend his stay at Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer likely to be keen on retaining the midfielder on a long-term basis.
He played a crucial role for United this season, making 42 appearances in all competitions and chipping in with six goals and nine assists.

However, it seems as though the 20-time Premier League champions will need to act quickly in order to keep hold of Pogba, with PSG tracking his situation with a keen interest, according to Le Parisien.
The report claims that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will pursue the United man’s signature if the opportunity arises despite the signing of Wijnaldum.
The French giants are aiming to bolster their ranks ahead of next season as they look to regain the Ligue 1 title after they were beaten to the prize by Lille this time around.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is understood to enjoy a good relationship with PSG sporting director Leonardo, suggesting that the latter’s wish to land the midfielder could soon be granted if United fail to tie him down to a new contract.
Raiola would undoubtedly play a huge role in any move for his client, with the 53-year-old reportedly pocketing around £41million in agent fees from Pogba’s return to United back in 2016.
He suggested earlier this year that a summer move could be on the cards by underlining the Frenchman’s desire to win trophies at Old Trafford or elsewhere.
“With Pogba, what’s really important too is what Manchester United want, what project they are proposing for Pogba,” Raiola told AS last month.
“Pogba has always been interested in one thing, winning the Champions League, titles, that’s his objective. And we’ll see if that’s possible at United or at other big European clubs.
“At one time, Pogba felt a lot of love for, and trust in, United, and there are various other clubs.”
Pogba starred for France in their opening Euro 2020 group stage clash with Germany on Tuesday, helping to set up the only goal of the game with a delicious cross-field pass before Mats Hummels turned the ball into his own net.
The United playmaker recently admitted that he is none the wiser with regards to his future in Manchester, claiming that he has not discussed his contract situation with the club since the end of the season.
“I have one year left on my contract, everybody knows it,” Pogba told a press conference last week.
“I know that the club is … well there has not been yet a concrete offer. It has not been done. We finished the season with the Europa League then we went on holidays.
“So, I didn’t sit down with Ed Woodward and the manager. We haven’t spoken and of course, I am still at Manchester United.”
