Sergio Ramos tried to emulate PSG team-mate Lionel Messi by attempting an audacious bicycle kick over the weekend – but it all went very wrong.
The French champions were held by Monaco during a frustrating afternoon at the Parc des Princes which saw the hosts fail to capitalise on a whopping 67% of possession.

After latching on to a Marquinhos flick-on in the box, the Spaniard cushioned the ball with his chest before knocking it into the air to tee himself up for a spectacular overhead kick – but completely fudged the connection and sliced the ball sideways.
To make matters worse, Messi, who was inches away from Ramos at the time, turned and laughed at his team-mate once the ball had been cleared – and the Argentine wasn't the only one who found it funny.
"What is Ramos doing hahah he thinks he's Messi," one fan tweeted. Another wrote: "Look at Messi! Taking the p*** out of him afterwards lol."

A third commented: "Today on: 'It's all downhill after Real Madrid.'"
Ramos joined PSG last summer after his Real Madrid contract expired, though his debut season was hampered by injuries and he only made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants.
The 36-year-old made a habit out of scoring important goals during his 16-year stint at the Bernabeu and has already netted three for his new side, though it's probably best he steer clear of overhead kicks from now on.
