Romelu Lukaku will be fined by Chelsea – but is set to start against Tottenham tonight after clear-the-air talks.
Lukaku has apologised to Blues boss Thomas Tuchel for outlining his unhappiness at the club in a controversial interview.
But despite being welcomed back into the fold after he was dropped for Sunday's draw with Liverpool, he is likely to be fined two weeks' wages.
Tuchel said: "There will be some disciplinary actions and he will accept it. He will be fined and of course, he needs to accept it."
Lukaku, who earns around £250,000 a week before image rights and bonuses, had a "calm" meeting with Tuchel on Monday.
And the Chelsea boss insists he has "zero doubts" about his £98m man's commitment, who "feels the responsibility to clean up the mess."
Tuchel, whose side face Spurs tonight in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final said: "It would be a nice moment to start, no? It can be a good occasion to let him start.
"He apologised and is back in the squad. We have given it time. For me, the most important thing was to understand it was not intentional.
"He did not do this intentionally to create this kind of noise. It's very important to stay calm and understand it's not as big as maybe people want it to be.
