Bayern Munich have completed the signing of midfielder Marcel Sabitzer on a four-year contract from RB Leipzig, the Bundesliga clubs said on Monday.
German media reported that Bayern paid a fee in the region of €16million for the Austria international.
Sabitzer joined Leipzig from Rapid Vienna in 2014, playing 229 times for the club in all competitions and scoring 52 goals.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder spent two seasons at Leipzig under manager Julian Nagelsmann, who was appointed Bayern head coach in April.
Speaking after he was pictured undergoing medical tests and posing with traditional food and drink from the region during his signing, Sabitzer told fans on social media that he was overjoyed with the move.
Sabitzer wrote on Instagram: ‘Words can’t describe how I feel right now.’
‘So proud and happy to have signed until 2025 for this special club . Can’t wait to get started.’

Bayern CEO and former Germany international Oliver Kahn said Sabitzer ‘offers everything that an FC Bayern player needs.’
Kahn added: ‘On top of that, he won’t need long to settle in as he’s already well-acquainted with the philosophy of our coach Julian Nagelsmann.’
Reigning champions Bayern have gone unbeaten in their opening three matches of the Bundesliga season.
Currently third in the table, they followed a 12-0 cup thrashing of Bremer SV with a 5-0 mauling of Hertha Berlin 5-0 on Saturday, including a Robert Lewandowski hat-trick.
