Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reintroduced Edinson Cavani into his starting lineup following his three-game ban.
The Uruguayan striker has been absent so far in 2021, but is now back available and in the team to face Burnley.
In attack with the experienced hitman, the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial also started.
Whilte Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes were included in the side too, showing Solskjaer is desperate to secure a vital three points at Turf Moor.
United know they will go top of the Premier League table ahead of arch-rivals Liverpool even if they get a draw at Burnley.
Only Nemanja Matic will be protecting United’s back four against Sean Dyche’s men, but it is a risk Solskjaer is prepared to take.
Before kick-off, the manager said: “[Cavani] was disappointed to lose the games that he did and know he’s ready to again.
“He was just getting some momentum, his form was good and he’s trained well. It wasn’t too long as we’ve had so many games in such a short space of time.
“I think there’s goals in the team, there’s energy in the team, fresh legs, we should be able to defend as well, you get pressure on the ball here, you have to get on the front foot, you can’t let them get into your half and put pressure on you. We’ve got to stop them high up.
“He wanted to play, he was ready, he came through yesterday, he didn't do everything but he was ok. Victor had a little reaction so we left him back.
“You’ve got to focus on this game, these 90 minutes, you cannot think too far ahead as a player. We just have to focus on our jobs."
